The software arrived undamaged and way ahead of schedule. As for the product itself goes, I have been using Word, Excel and Publisher with no problem so thus far but enough though to see that it works just fine for what I want it for. Some of the other programs included will have to wait for some testing we will do later.

Hahaha This is a program that is 16 years old. It works the way it should - once you get it installed. The "Product Key" wasn't. It was the OEM product key which is not accepted by Microsoft as valid.

This is the last version of Microsoft office that is actually good. The ribbon system they moved to is just awful. The old system in 2003 was simple, clean, customizable and efficient. The ribbon abomination is none of the above. In the 2003 system you have a few menus, some small icons for commonly used options, and a good open screen. Office 2003 was the last in a line of great office programs. All that followed was and remains garbage. The idea of a user interface was so that we could get more work done with less grief. That’s kind of the opposite of the Ribbons that came in more modern and trashy versions. blatant disregard for having a consistent UI is what 2007 and beyond get you. And by the way in word processors alot of people use both keyboards as well as my mouse. The ribbons in the modern versions are huge, blocky, non-customizable, is covers too much of the screen. Things commonly used cannot be placed in familiar or better locations. You cannot get rid of the things you never use, or hide them in menus. the Ribbon gets in the way of all of our former ways of getting the job done, but is less efficient and more time consuming to use after you get ‘expert’ with it! Stick with 2003 and before. You'll be far happier if you do.Read full review

I had recently ordered and installed Microsoft Office 2007 on a new HP laptop I had purchased. (Windows 10). If you're used to the simplicity and intuitiveness of Office 2003, the 2007 version is a setback - not an improvement! I uninstalled Office 2007, and installed this product, Office 2003, on the new computer, and and totally satisfied with it. I had no problems installing on Windows 10, and every application seems to work flawlessly.

The 2003 edition of MS Office is the last one that supports Lotus 123 files which I still use. The stand alone version of Lotus 123 for Windows kept as an option the / Menu system of the Lotus 123 Dos version. This permits one to work using only using the keyboard.which is much faster than using a mouse.
