Had the older XP100 for 5 years before I lost it in the drink of the Chesapeake Bay. This camera came with flotation and many their accessories, including. 64 Gb memory card, which my older camera did not have and I did not want to pay for given its age. When this one was reduced in price, I jumped on it. Also, did not want to purchase the GoPro for its money.

Battery life is horrible on it. I bought it for a waterproof video and still picture camera. In video mode, it lasts approx 8 minutes before the battery is shot. It has 750 MaH battery capacity....very low. I upgraded to aftermarket batteries at 1250 MaH but that only stretched it to about 12 15 mins.

I already owned one, bought a second to take traveling. It's easy to use and has numerous modes with great picture quality and is durable.

Lesson learned. Never buy an "open box" underwater camera from anyone. The seal was damaged and the camera was ruined on the 1st underwater picture. It displayed "card error" and would not function. The camera was powered off and would not turn back on. Upon surfacing, the dive master opened the camera and showed me that there was water in the camera and where there was a split in it.
