About this product

Product Information

Incorporating an abundance of unusual, bet-settling data and details from the world's most recognized book of world records, Guinness World Records: The Videogame presents players of all ages with an interactive reference of the odd and unbelievable, along with a selection of quick-fire activities in which family members can compete with their own record-setting performances. Players vie to be fastest in mini-games inspired by some of the record book's more unusual entries, involving such activities as sheep shearing, tightrope walking, watermelon smashing, fingernail growing, and airplane eating. (Yes, airplane eating.) Created with Nintendo's intuitive interface in mind, most of the mini-games make use of simple, motion-mimicking controls designed to be easy for players of all skill levels to learn.

I'm not waiting a week to tell you that I am never ordering from this vendor again. Zero customer service, when I try to contact its not delivered. I appreciate the fact the game came quickly however the game though described as "very good" in condition didn't run in my Xbox and no matter what I did it will not read it. It's only 3 dollars but if it is advertised as very good then it should be so. Safe to say I am very disappointed in this vendor and the product that I payed for.

This item came lightning fast and bundled with another item. Shipping cost were phenomenal and was packaged very well. The condition seemed to exceed the description so these folks are truly honest. Very friendly with great communication. This seller is worthy of my business again.

A good price for a cool PSP game, shipped promptly and packaged well. However, the UMD shell arrived cracked so the item wasn't exactly in good condition. The disc itself was fine. Rather than return the item, the seller offered a refund directly. I used the refund to buy some replacement UMD shells and got it working. The replacement UMD shells cost about as much as the item itself. But the seller did the right thing without hesitation, so they have my thanks. Thank you!

  • A+ This is a great Holiday Gift! Fun and Educational!

(I agree with the excerpt from VideoGamer.com that follows) What is it? Everyone knows about the Guinness Book of World Records, and the video game is essentially a way to virtually take part in record attempts that you'd never want to or be able to in real life. Whether it's building the tallest building, jumping as high as possible on a BMX, popping 50 balloons in the fastest time possible or throwing a washing machine as far as you can, the records here are all pretty crazy and good fun. Available on Nintendo DS and Wii, the two versions share the basic principle of breaking records, but each has its own unique set of events. Both games also support online record updating, so you can truly see if you're the best in your region or even the world. Complexity We found the menu system in ...

  • Harder than expected

This is an okay game. I bought it because I was looking for a game our 4 year old could play with us as a family. I realize the rating on the game is Everybody 10+, but in reading reviews and watching a video of how to play, it seemed simple enough. However, parts of this game are so hard even myself and my husband have a hard time playing it/figuring it out! Also, the navigation of the game can be really annoying, as are some other features you can't turn off.

  • Great Game to play to keep you active!

I got my own when a friend showed me their game to play, It is a fun Game to play. You can try to break a world record or it can beat you, ha,ha,,,and it will make you try harder to beat it over and over again, and you have so much fun in it, and you get to learn so much, about differnt things and get a great work out at the same time, trying to push or pull or anything in it, Again it is a Fun Game too play.

  • This game has been a good buy.

After receiving the game, I started breaking the built in records i connected it to Nintendo Wii Wi-FI. I have only been able to achieve one regional online record. Playing against the online records makes the game much more exciting and challenging.

  • Great Game

We really enjoy playing this game tons of action...
