Great coverage, better signal range than my previous setup consisting of 4 units, an Asus ac-rt68 with another router in bridge mode plus 2 WiFi extenders. My house layout is long, and I now get coverage throughout the house plus the entire driveway and backyard. Easy to setup. Beware that if you plan to setup an additional node with a wired connection, that the node must be in wireless range of the primary node for the setup. I set one of my additional nodes next to the primary node prior to putting it in it's final location, which was out of wireless range for setup. The app provides very good information on devices connecting/connected to the network. The one downside is that there is no web interface, so the functions are limited to the app features giving you very basic router configuration options.Read full review

I wanted to replace a simple system that was tied to aa ISP static IP address. After two hours of trying on my own to get it working, I called my ISP to confirm all my settings and they were all correct. So I called EERO tech support. I have been setting up networks for the past 25 years, so this is not rocket science to me. I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone with tech support to try and get it working..,. they put it to level two tech support, and nobody could figure out why it’s not working. I am going to stay with my current system, because there was no way to get EERO to work with a static IP. EERO Tech support says they will call me back if they come up with a solution, but it will probably require a firmware upgrade to make it work. If you are trying to place EERO to static, beware. If your ISP is DHCP, you will probably be ok. I’m sure the mesh system would have worked great hadn’t been able to be installed, but I am going to have to return the system. What a waste of time and effort for such a simple process. Eero needs to go back to the drawing board for static up setup. Read full review

I love the ease of set-up. I was fortunate in finding a $429 price for the 3-pack (which is still pricey, but at least not the $599 msrp), but I do feel this is expensive. High speed internet providers are already high and to be able to use the internet like they advertise, you have to add equipment or you are constantly chasing a signal. Spectrum told us - well, there aren't really any competitors. Nice, huh?

Easy setup. WiFi 6 is as much as 5x The speed pervious WiFi version in my experience. I upgraded from the first generation eero in order to take full advantage of my Xfinity gigabyte Internet. The units are a bit on the large size in comparison to the first generation.... that’s my only criticism. Otherwise I am quite happy with my purchase.

I’ve had the first generation and they worked great. But I couldn’t resist the new technology associated with the Pro 6! I’m still keeping my first generation as wireless extenders but I don’t need to. With the security and ability to block devices and place time limits on specific devices is a great option if you have kids. Worth every penny!
