    Choke may be a fund-raising trick, but it carries the drug-infused plot perfectly.

    Sam Rockwell (3 Billboards and other award winning roles) admits that he joined his director and author to admit they had created a movie that was the opposite of tasteful. Despite the sex addict themes, they deliciously cast Angelica Huston as the mom with dementia who vexs her son right up until her addictive demise. Huston's 17 year history with Jack Nicholson probably contributed to her ability to add characters like Morticia Addams and more witchiness to her role choices. I admired her style, een in this.
