It also discusses the making of the movies. Photos of costumes are in the book too. There's even stuff mentioned from foreign countries. There's a really great reference index to easily find all your favorite stuff. Like any great movie book there are several quotes from the movies along with pictures from the movies. The guide is a bit dated by now (1992) but for the collector, this is a must have. The book deals only with material pre "Special Edition" and Prequels, so the focus is on the things that I grew up with. Excellent!
