WWE Crush Hour mixes the stars of World Wrestling Entertainment with the kill-or-be-killed mentality of a vehicular combat game. A total of 12 levels are available to smash through, each featuring a number of hazards and potential traps to avoid while gunning for the rival wrestlers. Players can choose from over 30 different vehicles, from The Rock's sports car to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's monster truck. Each wrestler offers signature taunts to rile the opposition and all vehicles can strafe, power-slide into 180-degree turns, and speed around tight corners. In addition to the pro wrestlers, Crush Hour includes modes inspired by actual WWE events, such as hardcore matches and ladder tournaments. Jim Ross provides the commentary while players look to eliminate the competition using an assortment of deadly weapons.

WWE Crush Hour for Playstation 2
This game is basically vehicular Mayhem. It has a host of Superstars; Triple H, the Rock, Stone Cold, Undertaker, Kane, The Big Show, Kevin Nash, Brock Lesnar, William Regal, Booker T, Chris Benoit, Edge, Kurt Angle, Matt Hardy, stacky keibler, Billie gun (when he was with chuck, Chuck, Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon, Jericho, Lita, Trish, Rikishi, Test, Rob Van Damn, Hulk Hogan, Devon, and Bubba Ray Dudley. Some you have to unlock in season mode. There are several different arenas, weapons, and each wrestler has a special, after which they say a catchphrase. During the 'match' there is commentary. There is season mode, exhibition, and mulitplayer. You are either trying to annihilate your opponent or capture stars (lumberjack, running the gauntlet), belts (hardcore and hold on to it for ... If you are looking for something complex, and extremely challenging looking elsewhere. Basically, this is a great game for wrestling fans, and people who like simple vehicular destruction.

A Surprisingly Enjoyably Nonwrestling Game from the WWE
A surprisingly entertaining game from the WWE. Hoping to branch out from the normal fighting/wrestling games, Crush Hour is a Twisted Metalish demolition derby involving the WWE superstars of 2002. I personally was not expecting the game to be very good, buying it more for brand name than anything. It did exceed my expectations, with gameplay as good as Twisted Metal and other like games, and acceptable graphics. Downsides include poor commentary, game modes that do not particularly add the game, and the lack of a coherent season/story mode. (Though I could make other comments, but they would only be relevant to the hardcore wrestling fans). In the end though, if you are a wrestling fan who enjoys the demo derby genre of games, then i do recommend this for you. It is nothing spectacular, ... A surprisingly entertaining game from the WWE.
