Basic Blu-Ray player
It is a bit noisy but then quiets down after the first 10 minutes of the feature film. I have placed inside a cabinet and relying on CEC Anynet+ to control via my Samsung Smart TV and the end result is dead silence. The Anynet+ and BD Wise features work very well with my Samsung Smart TV.

I really love this players, haven't had any issues and has great features!
I bought four of the Samsung players to replace the ones in my house and one for my mother. She was a bit worried she wouldn't like switching from DVD to Blu-ray, but we all love the player and she is so happy with hers. There are so many awesome features such as if you hook the player up to the internet with an Ethernet cord you can access Pandora and Netflix, I also like being able to use my USB drive and show pictures through the player.I bought four of the Samsung players to replace the ones in my house and one for my mother. Great blu-ray player at a great price!
I'm only basing my reviews on the Blu-Ray feature of this player- If I want to get access to the internet I do that through other means. I have 2 of these players and both of them have worked phenomenally for me- Movies on my hi-def tv are superb and a joy to watch! I will only be tempted to go to the theater for very rare exceptions now. At the time of this review this player has been out for a couple of years and its still every bit as good as any of the newer comparable models unless you're interested in 3d viewing.
