This is one of the best tv series since The Closer ended!! It's fun, smart, intriguing, and the chemistry between all of the characters is so good!! Plus all of the happenings and/or incidents that are included makes it really interesting! Why do the really great shows always end?!?!

Casting Adam Baldwin as Ethan Slaughter was inspired,not to mention reuniting Nathan Fillion with Baldwin(Firefly). These two actors play off of each other in a way that is seldom seen on the big or small screen. Great ensemble cast. Can't think of anything that I can find fault with. The humor is perfect, the chemistry just steamy enough and the sweet family relationships are just quirky enough to add spice. The 'family' at the precinct add balance and more pleasure. What can I say, this is one television series that has it all! Romance, suspense, action, adventure,and family! And the dialogue is smart and original. The plot twists fresh and often totally unexpected. A wonderful diversion from the cares of the world with some mystery and mayhem and for us writer types -- a wonderful ... Awesome Series. Worth Every Dime.
I bought this DVD set because I am totally addicted to "Castle". It is hilarious. Drama and comedy is a great combination. Most of the actors fit their characters. Stana is a really beautiful lady. So unlike many stars, she is not slutty. Castle is of course the main man and actually does get mad once in awhile. You have to love Esposito and Ryan. They add so much to the team. Martha is such a hoot. Susan Sullivan was the perfect actress for the part too. Lani is adorable and soooo funny in this season. Then there is Alexis, the insipid, spoiled, alien looking daughter. She is the worst part of the series. I was REALLY ticked when they killed off Roy Montgomery. He was awesome. Then replaced him with a feminazi type woman. UGH! Hopefully, Beckett and Castle will finally ... I bought this DVD set because I am totally addicted to "Castle". It is hilarious. Drama and comedy is a great combination. "Mischievous and full of surprises"
Castle is mischievous and funny, kind and loving and you don't know what he's going to do next. I like the way he approaches things. It's is daughter that keeps him on the right track. Kate and Castle do belong together as a couple on this show. My husband and I love watching all the series 1 through 8. We were disappointed that it stopped at season 8.

Unlike most of today's shows which graphically have to depict every action, the producer and director in Castle uses classy characters, costumes, and scenery combined with witty dialogs and good acting to stimulate one's imagination -- how refreshing! Bottom line -- a great and entertaining series -- enjoy!My wife and I have found the Castle series extremely entertaining.
