No way of knowing if the HD is powered up. After a minute, my DVR finally recognized the HD, I tried to format it and it took about 30 min.. I still am unable to find it under hard drives on my computer. Maybe once I figure it out, it’ll work. Who knows? LOL

I’m also confused. If I break the seal on the box, does that mean I automatically VOIDED my warranty, because I do not see a seal on the actual HD? 🤦🏻

It's in great shape it works I love it I mean you can't go wrong with the WD refurbished stuff coming from eBay because it's actually coming from the WD factory and it is absolutely fantastic the only thing I did not know is that this houas ass drive has to be plugged into actual power outlet to be used so it is an at home device, but other than that it's absolutely fantastic!!!!!
