With WALL-E, Stanton replaces an apprehensively fishy estranged journeyer with a love-struck and curious robotic one, allowing the quest for eternal love to expand from a desolate, dust-covered, palpably polluted future Earth and into an even more mysterious abyss: the far reaches of outer space.With virtually no dialogue, WALL-E's neatly contained vaudevillian first act eerily and tragically introduces the robot of the title as the last living thing on Earth (aside from a little cockroach friend) amidst dilapidated skyscrapers and equally tall compacted trash heaps. WALL-E has developed a tender and inquisitive personality doing what he was built to do day in and day out for the past 700 years--allocate and dispose of human waste--simply because no one turned him off when the human race left the hostile polluted planet. When the directive-oriented Eve robot comes crashing into his life from above, WALL-E immediately becomes infatuated with her, and is willing to follow her to back into dangerous outer space, where two robots gliding through the ether, dancing via fire-extinguisher propulsion, are among the many memorable and grandly romantic moments of an expansively beautiful, deceptively simple story.

Best Version of This Movie You Can Have!
The product is very very good, it was amazingly priced and it just feel good to have the very best version of this movie. I deem it this because this is the original version that came out back in 2008 and as a result has the nice holographic slipcover. Overall definitely worth having!

Define Earth.....
This truly is one beautiful, touching animated sci-fi film....I cannot stress this enough. It's a unique cinema experience that you must enjoy firsthand. WALL·E is seriously the best movie I saw this summer, I just adored this movie, it has great laughs, cute jokes and is entertaining for the whole family. When it's Disney/Pixar you just can't go wrong. WALL·E is one of their most lovable characters ever and was like the robot version of Charlie Chaplin, he brought great slap stick to the story. This movie delivers everything you can imagine and much more, not to mention a great message. I highly recommend this movie for everyone, it's just a very wonderful movie that anyone can enjoy. Well, this is my first BD-LIVE featured movie. Impressed. Team has worked few years as I know and I can say that WALL-E is one of the most cutest, lovable characters Pixar ever invented!! It has 8.7/10 score in IMDb ... in eBay you can find action figures. The DVD is a pack of 3 disks. Including: more deleted scenes, making-of featurettes, BnL shorts, documentary film The Pixar Story, "WALL*E's Treasures and Trinkets", "Lots of Bots", DisneyFile digital copy. But the pack could be done much better!!! stupid cardboard sleeve keepcase :( The movie itself is awesome. The disney "digital file" on the other hand is lacking. This review would be 5 stars if the digital file wasn't so crippled. You can only transfer it once from the CD to ... Well, this is my first BD-LIVE featured movie. Impressed. Excellent movie
If you haven't yet heard, this is a great movie- perhaps the best Pixar/Disney collaboration to date. The beginning of the movie has no speaking, but the animation is so expressive that you don't really notice, and when I watched the film in the theater even the younger children were following the story (none of the dreaded "Mom! Mom! What's happening? Why'd he do that? What's that mean?" etc.). The extras included with the 3 disk version are worth the higher price tag to me (Burn-E alone was worth the extra cost!), but no matter which version- 2 or 3 disks- you settle on this is not a movie that up-conversion is 'fine' with. If you have a blu-ray player, get the blu-ray version; it is graphically clearer, crisper and all around more ... Short Circuit 20 years later?
Wall-E is a curious little recycling robot with a personality. He collects treasures as he makes his rounds packing refuge. He is also resourceful making repairs to himself as he finds better parts. Eve is a modern robot with new smooth lines. She is looking for life so that the humans can know they return to earth. Wall-E falls in love with Eve. And courting here isn't easy. This isn't like Short Circuit, at all. It is, however, a great story with great graphics. Especially in Blu-ray, High-Definition!
