This was listed as "open box", so I called the shop to ask for more details. Someone answered the phone right away, which was a great sign, and they told me it was a new guitar that had been returned. When I got the delivery, the outer shipping box was a little beat up, but everything else was basically brand new, tags on, plastic wrap still on the fretboard. I barely had to tune it and it was ready to play. I am very happy with this purchase and the seller.

This seller (proaudiostar) was fantastic across the board! The item was listed as "open box" so the price was a great deal, but I can't for the life of me tell where the box was opened. All of parts were factory sealed in plastic and zip-tied together on cardboard panels, just like brand new. The icing on the cake was that shipping was free and very fast. Based on my experience I just ordered another "open box" item from this seller with no hesitation whatsoever.

    almost

    its a little over hyped if you have been watching reviews. if you can get one on sale and spend the leftovers on some nice tuners and a set up you will have a great guitar. sounds good, plays well out of the box, looks great. just not the holy grail of budget guitars reviews would have you believe. not really a gigging guitar unless you play quieter, sit down type gigs. feels kinda fragile. that said, I love it. if you are a seasoned player looking to add some new flavor to your collection, don't hesitate, its got great studio potential and is fun to noodle on. I don't think it should be anyones first or only guitar. buy with this in mind: will need set up, no question about that. could do with a nice set of grovers. has tuning issues out of the box. fun sounds and feel.
