Leads harsh upbringing to a judgemental standpoint ?
I feel sad about buying this book. In advance I believed that this book was about duck-hunting, with tips and experiences between two covers, ment to give a picture of how a sertain lifestyle formed a person through hunting. In a way this lead to be correct, but not in the way I suspected. Phil Robertson emerges as a selfish "besserwisser" that condemns all kinds of lifestyles different from the one he himself likes, and throws dirt in the face of upbringing different from his own. His use of attitude testify lack of insight in useful development and knowledge. It is close to blasphemy to glorify a faith for a God while making duckhunting (read killing) into a lifestyle. It is almost ridiculous how he reshape his spoken humility to all-encompassing critique of other persons (read parents) ... I feel sad about buying this book. Started reading this book yesterday. So far I am enjoying it very much! I don't want to give away too much info but I can tell you that you will learn things about Phil that you probably didn't know. I was very surprised! I also bought this book for my son in law as a Christmas gift, I am sure he'll enjoy it as well! It's worth reading, informative and inspiring. Love it!!

My 12 year old loved this book!!
I actually purchased this book for my 12 yo son. He had already read one of their books and was excited for the next one. The book came 2 days after ordering. Mind you, I don't dislike Duck Dynasty, but I'm not a fan either. He loves them however. He has read this book now and can tell you everything about it. Works for me. He reads and learns.
