    Truly a wonderful thing!

    Good buy... The hub feature is kinda the poor man's equivalent of a RAID setup. Plug 'n Shrug. NOT totally silent, it makes a wee "gurgle" when accessed first time but otherwise is quiet as a mousie. I love it.

    Good value for disc space and HUB feature

    I use this on a home server (Windows 8.1) with my one USB3 port. I bought for capacity and the hub feature as I was running out of USB ports and disc space. The installation was literally plug-n-play as promised back in the 1980's... but now actually working. The drive is flawless so far and the hub pass-thru is great for additional drives. I have installed in a cabinet next to my server and have not noticed any special heat or noise issues. I access, reboot and maintain my server thru VNC remotely so never actually touch the product until I need to replace the associated UPS battery backup.

    Good Drive, Good Company

    The drive is working fine. Not as fast as the Easystore, but doesn't have a long wait time until it activates like the Easystore. Seagate also stands behind their products so I am confident that if there is any problem they will help out.
