It works
I feel this tool will get the job done but for how long. I question the quality of the steel due to the wear from just one use. Don't get me wrong I'm not sending it back . What I want it for is for peening rivets. I'll continue to grind the rivets on disassembly and pushing the pins with a chain breaker. An instruction sheet would be handy also.

Instructions for this specific tool would help with the rating. This tool is different than others on the market so their instruction help but are not complete. Had the instructions been included or even a link to them I would have given the rating a 5. Also the link press with the two holes will not work on a larger chain like I have. The spacing is too close for the pins to slide through when pressing the link on. I had to drill both holes to enlarge them. The process took much longer because I had to look at videos online to see which parts were used for each part of the repair process.Instructions for this specific tool would help with the rating. Its ok. Does a few of the harder tasks. The easier stuff it fell short.
Works for breaking chain links. Works for flairing the rivet type master links. But the side plate press tool doesnt line up with the pins to allow them to come through the holes. So it doesnt really work for installing side plates. Luckily i have a tool that does just that and none of the other things this tool can do. Price is cheap so lack of precision quality wasnt a shock to me at all.

This works great, but has no instructions, so you need to be very careful of what you do and how you do it. Check internet videos and it will work great, well built and strong as long as not misused
