Henry Collins Brown (1862-1961) was a Scottish-born New York historian, lecturer, and author. He was the founder of the Museum of the City of New York. He became a journalist for The New York Sun, writing about the city's history as well as its buildings. Brown also wrote several books about New York's history, and was the editor of Valentine's Manual.”
