Tc1000 computer
Greetings the computer works well but the operating system the xp is trnco asking me for the activation code supposedly it is in the under battery I put it but it does not come out it keeps saying that it is not.

The TC1000 is good for the price, but pay a little more and get a TC1100.
The TC1000 looks identical to the TC1100, with similar specs. But they are very different in performance. It's Crusoe versus Intel, and Intel wins big. I have two TC1100 and one TC1000, and I love them all. If you decide to get the TC1000, here's a few tips. Upgrade the HDD! The TC1000 is a bit sluggish with a 4200 RPM drive, but works nicely with a 5400+ RPM drive. The RAM can be maxed to 1GB, but it's not easy. The motherboard has to be removed to access the hidden din. The two sticks of RAM are different types, max 512MB PC2100 for the hidden slot, and 512MB PC133 for the accessible slot. Even after upgrading the HDD and RAM, the TC1000 will never be as fast as the TC1100. Pens, make sure you get a pen designed specifically for the TC1000, no other pen will work.
