lightweight with great features
i love how this carrier collapses for storage and is sturdy but not clunky. I could use a little more of a non-flexible frame for pet movement but it worked well with 2 different sized and weighted cats.

I bought this carrier because it looked like good quality, which it was. Also, because I am handicapped these days & the plastic carriers are heavy enough without cats in them, so I thought I'd try a lighter one. Unfortunately, the day I took three cats to the vet for their shots, I had to catch them however they let me. So the fattest cat who is 22 pounds with very short legs and no tail (that's how she came from the shelter!) ended up in this new, soft carrier. She was too big for it. I sat it down on the top step of my porch going down to the driveway. She was banging around in there and threw herself down the steps. She hurt her tail stump because there was no protection when she fell down the stairs, like there would have been with the hard plastic case. I donated it to the ... I bought this carrier because it looked like good quality, which it was. Also, because I am handicapped these days & the plastic carriers are heavy enough without cats in them, so I thought I'd try a lighter one. Smaller than I thought, but still good for my cat
Even at the large size, this is a bit smaller than what I was expecting (and really, that's on me, because the measurements are supplied, if I had taken the time to confirm the dimensions). It's for my young cat who's going on 10 months old now, so the size is just fine. It's really a good product for the price.
