    These printers are work horses and cost per page is great!

    I love these printers and hate that HP stopped making them! They are great for office environment and very easy to manage. The toner can be had from many 3rd party sellers for very inexpensive and lasts a long time (80x has rating of 6900 pages). The print quality is great and first pages comes out fast. They do not look bad, and have a pretty small footprint. I have very few problems with them so far. I have not had to replace a fuser in one of them yet, so I cannot comment on the difficulty of that task (although I am sure that day will come).

    Not working as well as I'd hoped.

    At first it seemed simple to set up. Then I had to uninstall and set up again to reconfigure paper trays for different sizes. Print quality was good until I changed toner cartridges and now I'm getting marks down the side of the pages. I've run the cleaning cycle several times and replaced the new toner cartridge thinking it was defective. Not sure what else to do to remedy it. Very frustrating.

    Excellent choice for a printing workhorse!

    Over the past 15 years, I have gone through 3 of these printers - they are the best HP workhorse out there! Excellent print quality and easy to find 3rd party toner cartridges, however we prefer LD Products, because they have the best toner cartridges for this particular printer. Issues have cropped up over the years, some "dark toner lines on the sides of paper", but usually changing the cartridge takes care of this. Wonderful machines. Hard to find good ones though! Spider Electronics is probably the best place to purchase these printers.

    As Promised

    I use this type of printer at work and was looking to replace the ‘Basic’ Ink Jet printer that I was using. I just needed a black ink printer for printing Bill Payments/Documents. I had to install an updated printer driver on my computer and it was.Hood To Go!!! Just As Promised!

    Excellent Printer

    This is the second same type HP printer that I have bought. I am very happy with the print quality and it is a work horse. I am glad I purchased it again as my other printer was dying out. I will recommend this product to all. It prints excellent quality and is a great asset.
