This was really a life saver. I looked all over for this switch. Everyone had the 3 wire switch but nobody had the 4 wire switch. I replaced the switch with no problem. As a matter of fact I went online and purchased another switch just in case my other ceiling fan might need one in the future.

This product was a perfect replacement. I made the mistake of cutting the wires out of the old one. Do not do that. They slide out of the unit with the assistance of a paperclip. the wires slide right back into the new one.

Although it was hard to find this particular switch once I got it I was very happy. It would have been nice for the instructions to tell me that I must first break the seal where the wires go in but once I figured that out it was an easy switch. No pun intended.
