KOTOR Vol. 2 - Flashpoint The adventure that occurred nearly 4,000 years before the Original Trilogy continues with this exciting 2nd installment that collects issues #7 - #12 of the ongoing comic book series “Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic” (KOTOR). 'Flashpoint’ is accelerating with clever writing by John Jackson Miller & beautifully drawn frames from cover to cover by Brian Ching. The story keeps you flipping the pages to see what happens next. Everything from comedic situations to suspenseful battles are jammed into this story that keeps you flipping through the pages to see what happens next. This volume brings Padawan Zayne Carrick & the rest of his motley crew head to head with the galaxy's most feared fighting force, the Mandalorians! That’s right we finally get to see them in action as an army instead of just freelance bounty hunters that are too easily defeated. Admiral Saul Karath even makes a pre-sith appearance as well. This wonderfully crafted graphic novel is a must have for fans of the ever expanding Star Wars universe. The only beef I have with this entire series is that Brain Ching isn’t always the artist & consistency is lost in the look & feel of the story. You go from realistic looking characters to Saturday morning cartoons. It really wasn't all that noticeable in this volume though.
