    Mostly public domain stuff, but the Mae West film alone makes the set worth buying. Don't miss it!

    The majority of these musicals are second or third-rate films, but there are two or three that make it worth buying if you can get it for a good price. There are a couple of Rita Hayworth films, one of which is with Fred Astaire, so that's one of the better ones. I bought this set mostly for "The Heat's On" with Mae West. It's not one of her better films, but the opening number's pretty good, and that alone makes it worth having. She's not on the screen much in this film, but her scenes are always fun and it's the best thing by far in this set.
