A very sad story, but an excellent account of the holocaust. A book I would recommend others to read, particularly since antisemitism is quickly rising in the USA, and around the world.     A must for Heroes Fans

    For all of those who, like me, dig Hiro Nagasaki, this tear-jerker is a must-read. It's kind of like reading a novel-version of the events leading up to the Titanic sinking: you know the ship has to sink, but you want to see what the voyage was like, anyway. For anyone who has ever been the nerdy or backward kid, male or female, you will see yourself in Hiro's coming of age yarn (yes, you can still have a coming of age when you're an adult, especially when you have a dad like his). This book fills in all those missing moments between Hiro's meeting Charlie and her death at the hands (so-to-speak) of Sylar. You can also find out a lot of interesting tidbits about his relationship with his dad. A truly tender and sensitive romance that doesn't make Hiro any less the man we know and ...

    A great amount of detail where the show left off! =]

    Hiro is tied for my favorite Heroes character. And I was so sad to see Charlie and him not make it in the end, I was dying for a little more detail. Then I saw this book at the bookstore. Finally it was mine and I'm so happy and excited that I read it, because many blanks were filled in. A lot of information aside from Charlie and Hiro's love story is also filled in this book. Will probably read many times throughout my life! I hope Heroes comes out with another one of these novels.

    Good book, Very short

    Although the book's a 'Heroes' book, I found an issue with it that kept popping up. At times, the book's a bit pervy. Not so much that I'd not give it to a 15 year old... He/She would already have been exposed to such things, but I would hesitate for a long moment before giving it to a 10 year old. Once beyond the innuendos and in one part, outright sexuality however, it's a good read, although very short. As a 'Crapper' book, it only took me about a week to read at 261 pages I would buy it again however if that helps

    Heroes Saving Charlie

    Awesome book, definitely recommended for the Heroes Fan. Fills in the blanks about what happened when Hiro went back to save Charlie. I couldn't put it down. Funny in places and very detailed. I could almost see the TV show playing in my mind.
