Installed it as soon as it was delivered. Ran it in test mode for hours. Then installed the Operating System. Did all the updates. I am good to go.

Good value for the price, you get good quality at a lower price.
I bought this Momentus to replace the drive that was failing in a laptop I was working on. The laptop was an HP. It installed easily. The laptop detected it with no problems. I was surprised at how quiet it is. Most laptops that I work on you can hear the hard drive running. When I installed this Seagate I couldn't here it running. I actually thought that I didn't get it connected until the bios booted and the drive showed up in the hardware list. It seems faster then the hard drive I replaced. This drive was much cheaper then the other brands of hard drives so I expected it to be lower quality but it was actually better. The only thing I didn't like about this drive is that it didn't have the cover to protect it from getting shorted out on metal in the laptop like the other drives have. ... Inexpensive and dependable replacement hard drive for any use.
I needed to fix one of my old pc's that's why I ordered this to replace the old one. I'm glad I bought a great dependable hard drive that's easy on the budget.I didn't have problems with it whatsoever. Highly recommended and will surely buy again if ever I needed to to fix other pc's that's compatible with it. It's also great for a backup drive, all you need is to buy a casing for it. A great alternative vs. buying those expensive external hard drives.I needed to fix one of my old pc's that's why I ordered this to replace the old one.
