    Perfect!

    This was a replacement for the same model. I'm happy I found it. For those of you wondering about the model, itself, it is compact. Seems to run hot, but it's the only projector I have ever owned, so I don't know if this is an issue or not, my last one ran for three years 18 hours a day until the pixels started dying. With normal usage, this projector should last a long time. One can find lamps at a relatively good price for this model. I love the ceiling mount (Peerless Industries PRG-UNV) on this one and will probably buy the remaining bits so I can put it to good use because I've been considering one, anyway.

    The HD65 is a great projector that was an awesome value!

    I bought the Optoma HD65 because of it's small footprint. I was quite surprised to see just how powerful this relatively small projector could be. Previously, I had tried a Panasonic PT-AX100U that was not too shabby. The Panasonic had better black levels, but the brightness definitely goes to the HD65. Probably with some tweaking, the HD65 black levels would come quite close to the Panasonic's. The 2x zoom and variable lens shift on the Panasonic offered much more flexible placement options, however, the size of the HD65 is much more compatible for my use. Overall, a great projector that was an awesome value!

    High quality product for low price!

    Works great. Even in the day time in full light! Great value. I was looking at some $1,000- $2,000 range projectors for my home theater setup, but this one had most of the features that the more expensive projectors had. In fact it had more high contrast ratio's and higher ansi-lumens than many of the Higher priced projectors. At this point I was worried but when it got here and I hooked it up, it was awwsome. I did not expect a projector to look as bright and clear as a LCD TV. The Future Is Here Guys. Thankx!

    Awesome!

    I bought this projector to replace a hd DLP that was very nice but needing an update. This has been a great investment that the whole family really likes. Whether it's video games t.v. or movies you just can't beat a 120" hd screen, unless it's a 300" hd image, this projector can do that well too. So far I can't really think of many con's, unless you consider other equipment you need to make this rock. You will need a HDMI receiver (if you want this to run all video & sound) long enough cables, possibly an HDMI booster, a screen or painted wall and whatever system you want to connect to it. I have a PS3 and a P.C. connected currently. If you are having doubts just get it and thank me later.

    Best value of any projector on the market

    This one just blew me away, it´s as simple as that. I Expected a proper projector, had read all kinds of reviews online and was pretty sure this was the best way to go at this price... And I was right. The depht of the colors and the brightness are excellent. Even with a contrast of only 4000/1 this is, dollar for dollar, the best one money can buy. The value is phenomenal. This one is only 720p, but you can not really notice. The picture does not get "pixellated" at my 4,5M throw distance.
