This was listed as "open box", so I called the shop to ask for more details. Someone answered the phone right away, which was a great sign, and they told me it was a new guitar that had been returned. When I got the delivery, the outer shipping box was a little beat up, but everything else was basically brand new, tags on, plastic wrap still on the fretboard. I barely had to tune it and it was ready to play. I am very happy with this purchase and the seller.

This seller (proaudiostar) was fantastic across the board! The item was listed as "open box" so the price was a great deal, but I can't for the life of me tell where the box was opened. All of parts were factory sealed in plastic and zip-tied together on cardboard panels, just like brand new. The icing on the cake was that shipping was free and very fast. Based on my experience I just ordered another "open box" item from this seller with no hesitation whatsoever.

    Good guitar but it has some problems.

    The body is thin, so it's lightweight. Stainless frets and ebony fingerboard feel good. Output level of pickups is not so high and not unique, so I can make any sound. The neck is thin like Ibanez so you can play it with no stress. And it has carbon fiber reinforcement so it's very tough. But...the cavity has problems. The back panel is not fit because of thin body. 3Way selector switch and push-pull pot interfere back panel, so back panel cannot close the cavity perfectly. So we cannot change 3way selector switch to CRL or OAK switch for grade up. The price of this guitar is not so cheap. It's very pity. Schecter has to reconsider the design of this guitar.
