Samsung HT-D5500 ZA Home Theater System
I was glad to find this older system because a friend of mine has one that he is very happy with and I didn't care to pay $400.00+ for a new Samsung unit. This was the first one I found that had limited usage which is why I was willing to pay $199.00 for it. A little pricey for a 5-1/2 year old system, but I knew it would work well for me because I have it connected to a 2011 Samsung 55" LED HD flat screen tv. I also didn't need today's technology for an older HD tv. I was initially concerned that the CD retrieval system ejected the disc immediately after I attempted to input it. I worked with it and used it often and it finally is working consistently. The problem was most likely due to the unit not being used very often by the seller. So, at this point I am pleased with the ... I was glad to find this older system because a friend of mine has one that he is very happy with and I didn't care to pay $400.00+ for a new Samsung unit. Great sound, stylish design, great value for the money
Pros : Crisp, clear sound, great beat, neat stylish design. Plays all the video/audio formats I've come across. The player takes care of all updates without user intervention. Cons : Had a hard time figuring out how to get the surround sound to work as the rear speakers are disabled by default.

The Home Entertainment system we purchased is of great quality and very easy to set up and use. It has a great sound with ease of use to customize settings of your choice. Samsung makes great electronics and we are more than satisfied with our choice. Highly recommended for those who like ease of set up and sound choice.
