  • Totally active in growing up a motor lady

One of the very few books I totally enjoyed reading cover to cover, especially good for anyone who enjoys motorcycling. Information and pictures not before known in other books. The truth about the families who made their business number one in the world of motorcycles. Inside stories of the start through good times and difficult times, and how the families stayed together and worked together to make history, yet how important it was for them to live up to the expectations of those who weren't sure if they could really excel at making a "machine" that everyone would want to have in their garage.I am on my second read...now that I have a better idea of the families times together, from coming to America and enjoying the new country they came to for their respective families.

  • Harley History

I am a Harley Davidson fanatic. I love everything about Harley from bikes , apparel, vintage parts and I especially love reading about Harley Davidson's . This book is such a good read. This is the daughter a true Davidson who writes about her life. Growing up Harley Davidson is a must read if you want to know more about the family who made this empire come to life. It is a fast read, my wife was amazed that I actually had a book with more than photos to look at. I read it from cover to cover more than once. You will enjoy it. Have fun reading it. Nicky Dorris

  • Growing Up Harley-Davidson

This is a well written book by a member of Davidson family. Ms Davidson writes about the beginnings and struggles of the founders of Harley Davidson Company and the struggles of the Company to survive for 109 years, but she interjects family stories about the families which adds a unique favor to the book. The book tells a wonderful story of the American Dream. It shows how the HD founders & families had a dream and how they went about achieving that dream. I recommend the book to the true Harley Davidson fan.

  • Excellent Harley history

Excellent book about Harley Davidson history, written by the granddaughter of one of the founders. A nice addition to any collector of Harley.
