I bought this for a new computer build. Since I put all the "bells and whistles" in the computer its self, I really wasn't looking for a decked out keyboard and mouse at the time. I also wanted another wireless combo if for nothing else, just to keep as a spare. This is just a really good basic wireless keyboard and mouse. Setup is very simple and there is no dedicated software to load. Just install the batteries in the keyboard and mouse, plug the receiver into a USB port and go. The only potential inconvenience I can see is the fact that the two components use different battery types. The keyboard uses two AAA batteries and the mouse uses one AA. Not a big deal at first since they're included but might be annoying when it comes time to replace them. Not worth deducting a star by any means. All in all I am quite satisfied with it. If you like lots of buttons and knobs and ergonomics etc., it might not be for you. For the price, it does all that it's really supposed to do and a little bit more.Read full review
I bought this wireless keyboard and mouse to lessen the clutter of wires on my desk and I just LOVE the freedom of movement this added! Setup was a dream; I put 2 AAAs in the keyboard and one AA battery in the mouse, then plugged the TINY wireless receiver into an open USB port. In seconds Windows had activated the necessary drivers and was ready to go; no disk swapping or rebooting needed. The performance of both is very good and there is no time lag for the command inputs. The folding tabs that tilt the keyboard up are well designed and stay put when opened. There are also some neat silicone rubber non-slip pads on the underside that keep the keyboard in place while typing. Key feel is excellent with positive tactile feedback. The only thing I miss is lighted indicators for lockable keys but I can get used to their absence since they would drastically reduce battery life. The mouse is optical with a clickable scroll wheel in addition to the left and right click buttons.Read full review
This keyboard is lightweight. I can hide it and pull it out with ease. I use it with my TV that is connected to my PC. The mouse is also easy to store away and pull it out. The design of the Keyboard makes it easy to type on my lap. The mouse is easily used on the arm of my chair. If you like the Convenience of no wires and mobility this Keyboard is a must. Lila
I purchased this product because my old keyboard and mouse was on it's last leg. This keyboard works really well it's small and don't take up to much space and it has all the buttons you need to operate just about everything you need to do on the computer such as music,e-mail,and my calculator also other functions.I think it's the perfect size and work just as well as the other keyboards out there and it doesn't use as many battery's as my last keyboard did.
I bought this unit for my brother in law who had a stroke in January. He is paralyzed on his left side and was having trouble raising up to type on his lap top. Since he got the keyboard and mouse he is more comfortable typing and has less typo's. This keyboard has been a Godsend to my brother in law. It has done all it is supposed to do and solved a lot of problems. It arrived when they said it would and has done all it is supposed to do......
