Help children swing for the fences in Little League World Series Baseball 2008, the first licensed Little League game for Wii and DS. The DS version features pint-sized players individually rated in power, contact, fielding, and speed. Motion-sensing controls allow players to swing and throw using the stylus, with the default camera view positioned behind home plate. In addition to exhibition and Little League World Series play, the game includes an assortment of whimsical challenges to master. Players can throw pitches to knock down bowling pins, for example, or try to hit targets like giant popcorn boxes and hot dogs positioned around the park. Eight official U.S. teams are included along with eight international teams.

    Judging My Fun!

    I am not the best writer to provide a review of such a product. First it is pass what I can play; my fingers and what I can see get in my way. BUT from a very outstanding source, my Grand Son who I bought this game for summed up the quality of the game by saying "PopPop this is really a great game and I love it; thank you." With that in mine I would say Little League World Series Baseball 2008 is a hit. What I did see of the game was a very true color presentation, excellent graphics and plenty of action to select from (age 6 through 11). I am now looking at The Back Yard Hockey, Football and Basketball as follow-on selections. I hope this review may be of help.

    really cute game

    bought this for my young grandson who is playing baseball for the first time. He really enjoys playing, but he also has learned a lot about the game, eg. positions, where to throw the ball etc.

    I got this game Little League World Series Baseball 2008 (Nintendo DS, 2008), for my grandson.. I got it in August..... He is really enjoying playing this game with his father.. His father enjoys it to. I got it at a reasonable price.. Thank you...

    not a great game at all played it once now im done with it will try and sell it soon, not sure if i can even break even on the game game play is very simple no defensive plays just pitch and hit

    service was very good and the game worked well, our grandson loves baseball and he really enjoyed playing the game on his nintendo ds.
