Ideal for occasional use; easy to stow
The length of this ramp is perfect for a 4" - 6" rise, and probably usable for a rise of 12" or so. The fact that it folds in the center, has a carry handle and is made of aluminum makes it easy to store in a closet or other small space. It handles a 200 pound load with only minor flexing. The top lip fits over the top step with a margin of about 3", which I like. I am giving this 4 stars rather than 5 due to the width. While it does handle the wheelchair used by the local nursing home, there is only two or three inches of excess width. At night or when visibility is limited for any reason, getting an exact alignment might take a couple of tries. The ramp is very good and serves the purpose advertised.
