The book shipped in a thin plastic mailer with “Do not bend” written in pale red marker. Inevitably, the USPS, being “neutral evil,” lost it during transit then bent the book to fit it in my mailbox and clearly mishandled it, slightly cracking the spine and crushing the upper back corner, tearing the cover and preceding handful of pages. While I’m glad to have a reproduction of the original book and will enjoy its contents, I wish it had shipped reinforced and/or in a sturdier mailer.

Giving this seller top ratings even though Im disappointed. It’s my fault I didn’t read the detailed description and assumed I was getting a vintage AD&D module. This is a reprint that is clearly brand new even though the listing says “used.” It’s a well done copy, but the cover (with the dungeon map) is bound, so cannot remove and use the map. Still, the delivery was fast, and price and shipping cost were fair.

The book came pretty trashed, the thin plastic it was wrapped in had been destroyed in shipping and the book was crushed and torn in several spots. This was the shipping company who did this but I do wish it had been packaged a pit better, like a padded envelope or small box. Other than that the book is still usable, but as a collectible it’s worthless. The price seemed fair and they shipped soon after purchase.
