      It’s a gig bag - limited power, limited padding

      I play Ibanez basses, so when I found I was short a gig bag, I thought I’d give the PowerPad a try. It’s pretty middle of the road, and you can probably find a better value without looking too hard - I recommend Kaces, RokSak (if you can find one), Warwick’s RockBag is nice. There’s nothing wrong with the PowerPad, there’s just nothing special about it, either - and I was disappointed with the insubstantial padding for something named a PowerPAD. Does have a leather-like vinyl on the side and bottom, so it feels like it would give some protection from the elements, at least. Just don’t drop it. Does have a neck strap, which is nice, but no other support for the neck. Decent pockets in front to hold the strap, extra strings, sheet music. Zippers seem good, but only one zipper on the side, ...
