Perfect to separate two batteries for charging with one source
Used in conjunction with a Blue Seas mini Automatic Charging Relay, this battery switch is ideal for separating two batteries so they may be recharged by a single source, such as the alternator in your outboard engine. The batteries are then kept separated electrically when in use, so that "house" and "starting" batteries are completely independent, insuring the starting battery will always be ready for use, regardless of the load imposed by trolling motors and other secondary loads.Used in conjunction with a Blue Seas mini Automatic Charging Relay, this battery switch is ideal for separating two batteries so they may be recharged by a single source, such as the alternator in your outboard engine. Good but not as rugged as it could be
since cable slack on most boats are a luxury, often times the cables connecting to these switches are tight and place extra loads (especially when boat is underway) on the connection portion of switch. In the unit I replaced the front and back sections of the switch separated (broke), my guess due to the underway stress.
