They Work
I get frequent nose bleeds usually during the dry winter months, even with humidifiers running in the house. It is due to capillaries that are close to the surface on the inside of my nose. The bleeds are always in the same place, sometimes worse than others. I have had doctors cauterize these capillaries 3 times with various results. You don't want to hear why they didn't work. It's not pretty. Pinching the nostrils or using ice doesn't seem to work for me so I usually resorted to shoving wades of facial tissue and replacing them until the bleeding subsided. Many times this would result in a scab forming which wouldn't be so bad except that sometimes the scab would break off and I was back to square one. This Bleedcease really works for me. If the bleed isn't too heavy, I can sometimes cut one of the packing in half. They are somewhat pricey, but I plan to never being without any. I wish that I had discovered these years ago. The enclosed literature states: "Releases calcium, a coagulant accelerating clotting upon contact with blood. Absorbs blood up to twenty times its weight. Doesn't stick to or tear newly formed clots when removing - no rebleeds. Non-irritating, painless and easy to use. No more bleeding through multiple band aids.
