These racks for my 2005 Honda CRV are nice, easy to assemble & install. Downside they whistle from not sitting flush on the trim (pic's). I followed instructions. Anyone know if the riser piece can be removed to lower it so it sits lower on the trim? Instructions did not mention that as an option. Not sure if I could add something to fill the gap and reduce whistle.
