    Great Fun for Mixed Groups

    These dice are a simple way to spark the imagination with the goal of collaborating on a story. These dice really shine with kids once they understand the pictures are abstract and not necessarily literal. It teaches about teamwork since the most entertaining stories when everyone participates in their own way. I like rolling them for inspiration and just to think along a tangent.

    Imagination? Yes, Please!

    These are a fun starting point to open your child’s imagination. I bought them for my, soon to be, second grade twin boys to keep their creative juices (and writing skills) flowing through summer break. I have them roll three die and go from there. The reason I gave them four stars instead of five, is due to the fact that two of the images were completely indistinguishable. They were basically black blobs. We have decided that if they get one of those with their roll, they can either consider it “wild” and come up with their own “third” story detail, or roll again. Overall, I’m quite happy with the Story Cubes.

    Makes you think and is fun.

    My Granddaughter wanted these, the store was always sold out. Found them here and made her happy. She loves laughing at some of the stories other come up with. It gets all the adults to have fun also and is a lot of family fun.

    Creative story-building

    This is such a fun game - a very simple idea done very well. My kids get to be creative and they fall over laughing at some of the stories they tell! It also builds skills in developing a narrative (beginning-middle-end), which is a crucial early learning skill.
