      The item arrived promptly and has Windows XP installed, unfortunately, it is useless when it comes to logging onto the internet, because none of the search engines will work due to the age of the installed software. Lesson taught, lesson learned.

      There is nothing wrong with what is installed. Your inability to go to most websites is due to XP from 20 years ago often being unable to deal with modern internet. You can't do much more than surf google on XP now because browser companies haven't made updates for the browsers for XP in over 10 years.
