    Beyond my expectations!

    Phone arrived a day before expected and well packaged. It was in such great condition I had to look long and closely for any cosmetic imperfections. This phone is better than I remembered it in 2010. It is compact but sturdy, the QWERTY keyboard will take some getting used to but that is the primary reason I bought this phone. For the price the camera isn't horrible and the screen is suprisingly clear. Not as amazing as a more modern screen but definitely better than I remember for a six year old phone. Phone calls and texts worked as soon as I put my SIM card in but I had to manually set the APN to get data to work. I haven't figured out how to configure HSPA+ yet so it's on EDGE. As soon as I opened up the web browser I realized the phone is on Chine firmware after it took me immediately ...

    Not a bad phone at all, and would recommend to anyone. I bought this phone because I was looking for a cheaper smartphone that still had alot of bells and whistles (4G, slideout, etc). My original phone didn't even have a camera. Likes: The camers and HD video recording is great. I can take good quality pictures and record video when a camcorder is not handy or just not available. The phone is clear on calls and haven't had any dropped calls yet. The slideout is smooth, and works great. Movie watching quality is surprisingly good and the phone's browser is fast. Graphics are surprisingly good as well. Dislikes: The battery life is mediocre. I pretty much have to charge it every day, even if it is on standby. It would be nice if you could put it into a low-power state like at ...

    Best smartphone value for the money.

    The only phone from any carrier any better then this phone is this phone's successor, the T-Mobile HTC MyTouch 4G Slide. It has the additional 1900 data band that AT&T uses. Not in use by T-Mobile at this time, but by next year it will be and it will give T-Mobile users greater 4G data coverage. It also has an 8 megapixel camera vs a 5 megapixel for the G2. That's really about it. The G2 comes with Android 2.2 and the 4G Slide with 2.3. The only important feature difference is that 2.3 has wifi calling in addition to wifi data connection. But the phone has FOTA updates, firmware over the air. So with your SIM card in the G2 T-Mobile will update it to Android 2.3, the latest version until about 2 weeks ago when 4.0 came out. But with the wifi calling you'll have everything you need. I was ...

    Yes, I was hooked on Android from the beginning and since I owned T-mobile G1 in the past, I was more than ready to test T-Mobile HTC G2. I wasn't so exited about the new 4G thing, I like the speed - don't get me wrong, but I was more curious about improvements on camera aspect, how display behaves on the sun, how QWERTY keyboard works and how fast this phone really is. I was nicely surprised about everything that I mentioned except the one thing... Design of the phone is great, I still love it. For me, HTC has best designed phones on the market, but this is my taste you have probably different opinion on design, after Google Nexus one this was my 2nd good looking phone so far.     Phone is an unbelievable value, came right to my home, and I love it!

    I am such a novice with cell phones that I had to go to the Tmobile store to ask them to remove the SIM card from my old bottom of the line phone and place it in this new very upscale phone. They were surprised to learn that the phone was not new. It looked so nice. It was sent in original packaging that even had the original sealing tape on the sides of the box. Tmobile was very impressed. They got me up and running and I am in awe of what this phone can do. Coming home from Tmobile I put the Navigation feature on. Wow.
