    The UR22MKII solved my latency problem

    The greatest problem I have found with using Steinberg software is finding drivers for hardware items that do not include so much latency. But the driver for this unit let me drop the sampling rate until the latency was gone. Two mic or guitar channels IN (and two OUT) and MIDI channels IN and OUT allowed me to connect my mixer and my MIDI patch board -- and that was all I needed. The only thing it needs is more amplification in the ear phone jack. But a $20 ear phone amp fixed that. I'm running a desktop with an Intel i7 Core 3770K CPU, 32 Gb RAM with Windows 10 (64 bit).

    Audio and Midi for Windows and Linux

    I was looking for an audio and midi interface that works on Windows 10 and Linux (Ubuntu 20.04) In Linux it worked without installing anything. It configured itself after connecting usb. In Windows, the driver in Cd made it work in minutes. Pristine clear sound and Solid midi transmission!!! Good investment. Very satisfied!

    Compact, sturdy all metal design, reliable and great design for function.

    Steinberg has been a leader in Audio Recording and music production and a step ahead in DAW Production for years. This unit is a perfect example. If you are a studio head, or on the road, in a hotel, or on stage...nothing compares to the ease of operation and functionality this little giant brings to the table. Most importantly, the audio fidelity via it's pre-amp stage is impressive and clean. The price point, ease of use, and it's all metal frame well worth the purchase. I wouldn't be without it.
