Great availability and free combined shipping. Item as described. Only issue was the shrink-wrapped packaging tore, exposing the edge of one of the books. Luckily nothing lost or damaged! May want to consider sturdier packaging for heavy/hardback books. Thank you!

  • Review of Dead and Alive by Dean Koontz

This is the 3rd in the series and it's pretty good. The 4th book is due out in the Oct-Nov time frame. It is about Victor Helios (aka Frankenstein), but an evil version, who simply wants to end life on Earth. His oldest creation, Deucalion, still lives and feels his mission in life in to stop Helios. I did not feel it was as good as the first 2 books but still enjoyable. It will be very interesting to see where Dean take the 4th book. In my mind, Koontz is simply the best supernatural fiction writer out there.

  • Patience is rewarding with EBay

A few years ago I bought the first two books in this trilogy. As often happens I was unable to locate the third until it was advertised on EBay. and needless to say I bit and puchased the third and completing volume. Thrilled that I was able to do this and the service was great. Already read the book and placed it with the other two in my library. Also would say I have had good luck locating out of date books that I want to add to my collections. Thanks much. You done good!!!! D. Ott

  • Dean Koontz Frankenstein - I give a B

I read the first two of this triligy and it took 4 plus years from the second to the third. I have no doubt this had to do with Katrina... however, it lacked the typical intense ending, and kept the door open for other books. I love all Mr. Koontz's writing, but I was disappointed, expecting more from 4 years.

  • Good title. Eye catching and enticing.

My grandson collects Dean Koontz books and enjoys reading them very much. He reads each book completely through before he stops. He is a very smart guy who is a chef in his own resaurant. He thinks Mr. Koontz is the best author around and would not miss owning one of his books. He looks forward to all of the new books Mr.Koontz has published. I enjoy making my grandson happy,so I buy the books for him when I find them at a good price. Thanks to Mr. Koontz for a great past time for my grandson when he is not cooking great food.

  • Frankenstein 3-Dead and Alive

This third installment in Dean Koontz's masterful Frankenstein series is a tense, page-turning thriller that will keep you up late because you won't be able to put it down... New Orleans is about to become a battleground as billionaire Victor Helios' (or Frankenstein's) New Race humanoids begin to lose their "programming" to obey their mad creator, and begin murdering many "old race" (that's US) people, fulfilling their deeply ingrained hatred for humans. As Helios' empire begins to crumble into chaos, his first creature, who calls himself Deucalion, along with two brave New Orleans detectives, Carson O'Connor and Michael Maddison, seek to stop the nightmare by finding-and killing-Helios, and destroying the thousands of DNA enhanced monsters he has created-monsters who look like us. The ...
