Mat had only one bulge in the middle that will easily work itself flat over a short time. As is noted in many reviews, cargo mat isn't quite as robust as one would like to see, the sign of things being made cheaper these days unfortunately. However it will do the trick of protecting the cargo area. Mat stays in place, but double side carpet tape secures it nicely. A+ seller
