    Impressive replica of the real thing

    In look and feel this item is impressive, as would be expected of something branded by (though not made by) Sig Sauer. Lube it with Pellgun oil before first use.

    Not bad

    While very fun to shoot, my little complaints add up to a bit of disappointment. For the price I'd like a little more attention to detail. The black pieces are smooth and polished which clashes badly with the beautifully simulated aged finish on the slide and frame. Fit and finish is terrible; it rattles like a bag full of empty tin cans. The simulated external extractor molded into the slide is tacky. They should have left it off and gone for the hidden internal extractor look. Ultimately the straw that broke the camel's back was that giant, hideous warning label on the right side of the frame that I can't remove without destroying the finish on the frame.

    Have enjoyed practicing with the SS air pistol, easy to use and works pretty much like my 1911 I used in the ARMY. Highly recommend this pistol.

    Sig Sauer 1911 "We the People"

    I was very impressed with the CO2 pistol. It is very well made and, with the blow back, shoots like a full on .45 cal. I shoot everything from real .22 to 30.06. Using the Sig for practice saves on expensive ammo. It is a good training gun. Recommend if you buy one, order extra mags. It comes with one but, saving reload time by having extra mags.
