    Concise, clear and almost reading like a legal document, the baby Rudin captures the essence of Real Analysis. Not for beginners, who haven't developed the taste for pure Mathemetics, this book offers numerous problems after every chapter that offer insight into the structures that are being discussed. It also has a good number of examples in the text, that give good leads to the reader on how to solve these problems. The things I absolutely love about it are: 1. the consistent and economic use of symbols, 2. the natural and fluent ordering of mathematical concepts, 3. those small but immensely revealing corollaries, 4. the exhaustive index, and 5. last but not the least, how the author manages to keep all this to less than 350 pages.     I bought this book thinking it would have the same cover as the one shown. I knew it was an international edition, but was disappointed to see the cover was completely different than advertised. I wish they would clarify that fact as well so people buy the book knowing exactly what to expect.
