    Very poor performance!

    I had a very difficult time putting this thing together. I've read the instructions, however there was very little to follow & no picture illustrations. It hardly resembles the product in the photo. Also, most importantly is that my issue is there is very little water flow due to there being some useless unnecessary piece of glass blocking the water passing through, which causes it to make noise & I tried to clean it the other day, yet was unable to get all the sludge out. Thete was a big thing attached to the pipe that I took apart because it was taking up space & made things worse. It supposed to be a surface skimmer. I just thought that the UV light would be enough. However, it wasn't, so therefore I am hugely disappointed in this product. I have an AquaTop Heater & it works fine. Maybe ...

    UV Light and Filter

    This Filter with the UV Light is just perfect for a Quarantine Tank. By turning down the adjustable flow and giving the water more contact time with the UV it cleared up the Algae Blooms. The cartridge can be used with the carbon and fiber Filter Media or you can replace it with your choice of Filter Media Pads as the cartridge snaps apart!

    Best UV filter

    I think this is one of the best UV filters! Because you can turn off UV bulb and still have the filter running. Which is the best idea because it saves the bulb life. It is made of sturdy plastic, is very quiet, and I've been running my first one for over a year and not had any problems. This is my second one.

    Portable UV Sterilizer

    makes an excellent portable UV sterilizer, when you have a green water outbreak . Put polyfill behind carbon cartridge (dump out carbon) to polish the water by taking out fine particles. works great for me for that purpose.
