The quality may not meet some people’s expectations but for the price it is really good value. Treated properly, there is no reason the copper tone will not last, I never use chemical based cleaner or scourers, from 50 odd years items used several times a day, the affect glaze, coating, patterns, colour are affected. So Yes I would recommend this kettle for multi hob use, I have even used on my log burner when electricity went down. 10/10
