The first use was earlier this afternoon. Went very well.
Up here in northern Wisconsin, we’re still waiting for the snow to melt. However today it was 48 and very sunny so I ventured out into the woods to do some chainsawing after installing the new chain. I spent about 30 minutes sawing a large maple tree that had fallen during the winter. I found the new chain to work flawlessly, giving me nice big chips as I made many cuts effortlessly through the fallen tree ( average diameter of the trunk was about 18”). So far, I am extremely satisfied with the 8Ten chain. And, you can’t beat the price! It’s great too that it came as a two-pack. Recommend this chain for anyone looking for a great quality chain for the price. I cut a lot of wood every year to heat my home and these are the best chains I have ever bought. I usually buy Stihl chains buy I will never go back to them again. I will always buy 8ten chains from now on
