    Excellent Movie!

    This movie is a Christopher Nolan masterpiece! It is NOT your conventional war movie. There is NO central character that the movie revolves around. Instead it is a montage of the land, sea and air events that took place at Dunkirk. The soundtrack that plays throughout the move adds to the suspense. The negative reviews by some completely misses the point made by Nolan. It is not a ONE person's story but a collection of the experiences endured by those there. The scenes change from one event to another to portray the enormity of what took place rescuing over 330,000 men who would have otherwise been killed or captured. This is not your standard war movie. If that is what you're looking for here you probably will not like this movie. I rarely ever buy a DVD but this is one I will watch again ...

    YUK! Boring, inaccurate,confusing, dull, strange, use of modern ships instead of period ships, fake ME-109s went to sleep.

    Called my brother and told him not to buy it. Very confusing, too much music, not near enough action, no debris on the pristine beach, toy Stukas, I actually fell asleep. Could not tell one character from the other Where were the Germans? Same boats got sunk many times. even turning over the same way. One little bomb from a CGI bomber and it sinks.. photography might be great but story and details .....again ..YUK

    people today know nothing of the History of WWII. Movies like this help the young understand what a Generation did to keep them free.

    You would be better off watching the 14958 version, the ending I thought was very good, might even say classic. But, overall the movie was Blase.
