Das Keyboard Model S Professional for Mac is a mechanical keyboard that is specifically designed to be used with Apple computers. It works with the Mac OS and comes with several Mac-specific features, such as the Option and Command keys along the bottom. This full-size wired keyboard lets you type comfortably, with gold contacts on the keys for ease of use. It also features an enhanced layout that includes a number pad to the right. Instead, each key’s inscription has been laser-etched onto it to prevent fading even with consistent use. Special function keys along the top of the mechanical keyboard enable you to perform certain commands with the touch of a button, from adjusting your music’s volume to pausing your current song. Whether you’re watching a video, listening to a new album, or spending a few hours gaming, these function keys allow you to control your computer much more easily. Five-key rollover means that your keystrokes are registered correctly, even if you’re pressing multiple keys at a time. This results in more accuracy when you type and is also useful in video games where multiple keys must be held down at once.     For any professional typist, editor, or word-smith this is the answer! Very dependable...not a flimsy mess! Once you get used to it, you'll never go back to the apple/mac keyboard B U T ......The keys are NOT identical to the MAC layout and I would like larger markings on each key. There is NO eject Button on this baby, but I understand you can set it up to do whatever you want by re-assigning key functions to each key...GOOD LUCK !!!! Overall, "Sehr Gut!!!!"

    "Don't feel or see the benefit of the keyboard"

    The keyboard does mimic the mechanical feel and sound of the old mechanical typewriters. But I don't type any better or see the benefit for the sound or feel of keys. So I can't justify the added expense of purchasing this keyboard other than preference.

    The clickiest of the click
