I just tried it with my Nes, and was playing Heavy barrel. It looks better than before and sounds like some good stereo sound as well. I am impressed and I think this is a must have for Nes players. I am using a converter box that puts it in 720 p Hd and outputs it to my 4 k monitor and there is no lag with it that will happen with Tvs. Monitors just play the game and don't try to decode everything like a Tv will. Note that if you don't want button lag.

Really good cables but...
Only two minor complaints that are not really that big of a deal. First off, the audio is quite low compared to the rest of my systems. I have to turn the volume up pretty high to get it to a comfortable level. Secondly, on the top of my screen there seems to be a small graphical glitch that causes it to shake. It's hardly noticeable while you are trying to focus on the gameplay though. I wanted to upgrade from RF, and this is definitely giving me better picture and sound! Sounds good going through a vintage receiver and out some vintage floor speakers. I could have just used one video cable, and one mono audio cable with a Y splitter so it goes to both speakers... But then I'd have to buy those things separately and the cable lengths probably wouldn't match. It's handy to have it all in one shot.
